Melilla: More than 2,500 migrants arrested in February

In February, security forces and the Guardia Civil arrested more than 2,500 migrants who wanted to enter Melilla.

Thanks to the new security features that allow the presence of migrants near fences to be detected, the Guardia Civil has been able to prevent the entry of 2,534 migrants, including 76 minors.

These devices have helped to reduce the number of stowaways by 70% compared to last year.
