The Nevada commission sentenced Khabib Nurmagomedov of Russia and Ireland’s Conor McGregor to nine months and six months of suspension following the incidents after their fight on 6 October 2018 in Las Vegas.
After a first ten-day suspension, the two mixed martial art (MMA) champions have had their sentences extended. The Russian will be able to obtain a three-month remission if he agrees to participate in the shooting and distribution of a public service spot against harassment. The sanction started on October 6th.
On Monday, the commission also added a $ 500,000 fine to Nurmagomedov and $ 50,000 to McGregor. The Russian fine is levied directly on the two million dollars retained by the Commission.
“Always politics,” Nurmagomedov tweeted. Recall that the Russian triggered a general fight and fought with relatives of the Irishman, himself assaulted by a member of entourage Nurmagomedov, Zubaira Tukhugov, who was inflicted 12 months of suspension and 25,000 fine just like a Russian cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
