King Mohamed VI arrived this Monday in Libreville, Gabon, for a private stay. According to a statment who quotes “a source close to the intelligence service” Gabon, the Sovereign has joined his private residence Pointe-Denis, less than thirty minutes crossing Libreville.
“This visit comes as the Gabonese leader, Ali Bongo, continues his convalescence in Morocco, following a stroke, occurred on October 24 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia”.
Recall that King Mohamed VI paid a visit to Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba on Monday (December 3rd) to Mohamed V Military Hospital in Rabat. The latter is in Morocco for the purpose of rehabilitation and convalescence.
Hospitalized since late October in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba arrived late November in Rabat to continue his convalescence.
Morocco has always woven strong bonds of fraternity with Gabon. The late Hassan II already had very close relations with Omar Bongo: their sons only make these links in the continuity.
