Morocco accounts for 50% of the business aviation sector in North Africa

Morocco is the leader in business aviation in North Africa. “it accounts for 50% of the segment of private flights in the region,” said Zouhair Mohamed El Aoufir, CEO of the National Office of Airports (ONDA).

Morocco awaits to organize its continental Business Aviation Show (MEBAA) to be held on 25 and 26 September in Marrakesh. A meeting at the height of that of Dubai.

The exhibition, which takes place every two years, brings together companies and professionals and opens the opportunity to discover the latest technologies and updates in the aviation sector. For his part, Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi, board member of the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association, reviewed a number of data related to the next session of MEBAA in Marrakesh, stating that more than 3,000 VIPs visitors are expected from around the world and more than 100 world class exhibitors will present their latest innovations and services.

The holding of this show in Morocco confirms the country’s position in the business aviation sector and its promising development potential.
