Morocco acquired Israeli anti-drone system “Skylock Dome”

The information was published by the Israeli financial newspaper Globes. According to the same source, the Skylock Dome system is manufactured by the company Skylock Systems, which is part of the Avnon group.

The Israeli newspaper Globes announces that Morocco has bought the “Skylock Dome” system. The announcement is made on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow, which is being held November 14-18 in Dubai.

“The Skylock Dome system detects, verifies and neutralizes unauthorized drones,” the newspaper explains. The system was exposed in February 2021, in the United Arab Emirates to IDEX and subsequently several agreements were signed. In the end, the Skylock Dome was purchased in 27 countries, including Morocco, the United Arab Emirates and countries in East Asia, according to the same source.

On this occasion, Skylock CEO Itzik Huber said that “unlike very large companies, Skylock specializes in simple and relatively inexpensive defense systems that are extremely effective and offer broad protection against the growing threat of attack drones”.
