Morocco and India promote bilateral cooperation

Secretary of State for Foreign Trade Rakiya Eddarhem held, in Gujarat (western India), talks with Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi, on means to promote bilateral cooperation between Morocco and India.

This meeting, held on the sidelines of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019, was an opportunity for both sides to highlight the quality of bilateral relations between Morocco and India and the efforts made to strengthen exchanges between the two countries in all areas.

On this occasion, the Indian PM instructed Eddarhem to convey his best wishes to HM King Mohammed VI, while recalling the major role played by the Sovereign in the success of the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit.

Modi also welcomed the positive developments in bilateral relations and the large number of high-level delegations that have visited India in recent years, stressing that there is a real willingness to develop these ties in promising and important sectors, particularly in the information technology sector.
