The agreement signed in Rabat last week covers operational cooperation, joint R&D projects and information and knowledge sharing, according to Israel National Cyber Directorate. This is the first cyber defense agreement between the two countries since relations began last year.
The agreement was signed in Rabat in the presence of Yigal Unna, the director general of the Israeli cyber directorate, his Moroccan counterpart General El Mostafa Rabii and the Moroccan Minister of Defense Abdellatif Loudiyi.
The accord is for operational cooperation, research and development and the sharing of information and knowledge, the directorate said.
