At a meeting of the Moroccan-Saudi Military Joint Commission held Tuesday, Morocco and Saudi Arabia agreed to enhance military ties by sharing experience and expertise.
The meeting also acknowledged the positive outcomes of the bilateral military cooperation, said an official statement.
Besides reviewing the results of military exchanges during the past two years, the meeting also focused on upcoming cooperation scheduled for 2020, the statement added.
Military cooperation between the two countries is governed by a framework agreement signed in Dec. 2015 that covers the areas of training, defense industry, logistical support, transfer of military expertise, military medical services and the exchange of visits.
