The work of the 7th edition of the World Government Summit was started Sunday in Dubai, with the participation of 4,000 government officials and experts representing 140 countries, including Morocco.
The Kingdom is represented at this Summit by the Minister Delegate for the Reform of the Administration and the Public Service, Mohamed Benabdelkader.
According to the organizers, this edition will focus on the future of the human community and will look at seven future strategic directions, namely “technology and its impact on governments”, “health and quality of life”, “environment and climate change”,” trade and international cooperation”,”education and the labor market”,”communication between governments and peoples “and “the future of individuals, communities and politics”.
This global conclave will be marked by more than 200 interactive sessions, including several open meetings and more than 20 round tables on various topics to strengthen the efforts of governments and international organizations working for the human community.
Three countries have been named honourees of this edition, namely Estonia, champion of Europe for digital transformation, Rwanda, African model for stability and development, and Costa Rica, Latin leader American in terms of sustainable development and quality of life.
On the menu of this summit is the organization of 16 thematic forums, including “the global dialogue on happiness and quality of life”, “the global forum on the governance of industrial intelligence”, “the youth forum Arab”,”the forum of global policies”,”the forum of climate change”,”the forum on the objectives of sustainable development” and “the fourth forum on public finances in the Arab countries”.
It is also the “Gender Equality Forum”, “World Health Forum”, “Government Services Forum”, “Advanced Skills Forum”, “Forum on Gender Equality”, “future of communication”,”the forum on the government leadership of women” and “the forum on the future of humanitarian action”.
