Morocco-Canada: Creation of a new Chamber of Commerce

The Moroccan-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (MCCC TO) has just been created as a Canadian non-profit organization based in Toronto, the largest metropolis in the country.

The purpose of this chamber is to promote and facilitate the development of trade between Canadian and Moroccan companies, primarily in the province of Ontario. It will provide services to Canadian companies wishing to discover the Moroccan market, but also to Moroccan companies that are eyeing the Canadian market.

According to the initiators, Morocco’s policies of economic, trade and fiscal openness, as well as Canada’s desire to diversify its economic partners, mean that the time is ripe for closer economic, trade and cultural ties between the two countries.
