Morocco extends suspension of air links

A note from the Moroccan Civil Aviation Authority announced on Thursday the extension of the suspension of its direct flights to and from Morocco for two more weeks. Thus, regular passenger travel in both directions is suspended until December 31, 2021 at 11:59 p.m., in view of the evolution of the global epidemiological situation linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This suspension does not apply to special one-way flights departing from Morocco, until December 13 and notably allowing the repatriation of foreigners and Moroccans residing abroad to their respective countries.

RAM customers who originally planned their scheduled trips by December 31, 2021 will be accompanied by the airline to have their plane tickets changed or refunded. Thus, they can make a “free change, from / to the same destination or another of the RAM network in the same geographical area (Africa, North America, Europe, Middle East), for a new travel date during the 15 days following resumption of flights”.

The second possibility is to allow customers a “change without penalty with application of the fare difference, from / to the same destination or another of the RAM network in the same geographical area for a new travel date between the 16th day after the date of resumption of flights and October 31, 2022”, indicated the RAM.
