Morocco has received 2 million sinopharm vaccines

Morocco received, this Tuesday, July 13, a new batch of two million doses of the Chinese vaccine Sinopharm. Enough to strengthen the vaccination campaign recently extended to Moroccans aged between 35-39 years.

A Royal Air Maroc (RAM) Dreamliner from China landed around 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. The device transported 2,000,000 additional doses of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine. After landing, this batch of vaccine was transported by SNTL refrigerated trucks to the services of the Autonomous Refrigeration Authority of Casablanca (RAFC).

With this new delivery, Morocco will accelerate its national vaccination campaign against the coronavirus. As of July 13, 10,713,551 people have received the first dose. 9,409,395 people were injected with both doses.
