Morocco: New gas detected in east

The Tendrara exploration initiative in eastern Morocco saw the detection of fresh gas by Sound Energy, a UK oil and gas firm.

The TE-10 well has been underway as the second out of three exploration well drillings in the Moroccan region when it concluded , “with gas showing down” indicating 2,070 meters of depth.

TE-10 well has been drilled at an overall measured depth of 2,218 meters by the British company, as it announced in a statement.

Morocco granted its permission for a number of firms to commence gas explorations on shore and offshore within the country.
