Morocco receives 2 million doses of Chinese vaccine Sinopharm

As part of Morocco’s efforts to carry out its anti-covid vaccination campaign, the Kingdom received, this Saturday, July 17, a new shipment of 2 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

According to details reached to our editorial staff, a RAM Dreamliner took off and landed this Saturday around 11am at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. SNTL refrigerated trucks ensured the transfer of the newly arrived doses to the services of the Autonomous Refrigeration Authority of Casablanca (RAFC).

This new delivery strengthens the national vaccine stock, while the national vaccination campaign, which is in full swing, has recently been extended to the 35-39 year-old category.

According to the latest report communicated on Friday by the Ministry of Health, 11.185.961 people have been vaccinated since the launch of the campaign, including 9.608.887 totally (two doses).
