Abdellah Ben Saad Al Ghariri, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, reiterated on Monday in Rabat his country’s continued support for the territorial integrity of Morocco, which is a “red line” and a constant its foreign policy.
In talks with Speaker of the House of Representatives Habib El Malki, Al Ghariri emphasized the strength of relations between leaders and peoples of the two brother countries, calling them “strategic and deeply rooted”.
The diplomat also praised Morocco’s progress in recent years under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, highlighting urban development and construction projects in the field of infrastructure and transport, in particular.
The tourism sector is booming in Morocco, he said, highlighting the importance of encouraging tourism exchange between the two countries.
For its part, El Malki praised the depth of historical bilateral relations, welcoming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s consistent position in favor of Morocco’s territorial integrity and solidarity with the Kingdom.
At the parliamentary level, the Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed his willingness to consolidate cooperation relations with the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, addressing an invitation to the President of this institution to make a working visit to Morocco, with a view to examining ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in all areas.
Recall that the Moroccan-Saudi relations had experienced a cold snap, after the Wahhabi kingdom chose to publicly support the US file for the organization of the 2026 World against the Kingdom.
