Morocco has decided to suspend air links with Russia from Tuesday (October 5th), the country’s embassy in Morocco announced.
“Direct flights between Morocco and Russia will be suspended from this Tuesday, October 5, until further notice,” the Russian Federation embassy in Morocco wrote in a post on its Facebook page. “Flights in transit through third countries are (however) not subject to these restrictions,” said the Russian diplomat, urging passengers on canceled direct flights to take this information into account.
The reason behind this decision is the worrying health situation in this country. In all, 895 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
Royal Air Maroc (RAM), S7 Airlines, as well as Aeroflot are the airlines affected by this decision.
