Fuel prices will rise again this Monday, April 1st. In this regard, the President of the National Federation of Service Station Managers, Jamal Zrikom, said that the price of gasoline will increase by 42 cents, while that of diesel will not change.
Thus, the price at the pump of gasoline will be displayed on average at 10.42 dirhams/liter.
Remember that the last increase in fuel prices was recorded on March 18th. The price of a liter of diesel had increased by 10 cents, while that of petrol had increased by 15 cents.
Meanwhile, oil prices rose on Friday as a result of reduced production by OPEC and its partners and US sanctions against Iran and Venezuela. Note that this is the largest quarterly increase in oil prices recorded since 2009.
