The 6th edition of Africa Development International Forum (FIAD) will take place on March 14 and 15 in Casablanca, under the theme “When the East meets the West”, announced Thursday the club Africa development group Attijariwafa bank.
Speaking at the presentation of this event, Attijariwafa Bank Group CEO Mohamed El Kettani said that the FIAD, which has brought together since its inception 8,000 economic and political actors from 36 countries with more than 17,000 appointments business, sees itself as a hub and platform for dialogue, investment promotion and intra-African trade.
For her part, the director of the Africa Development Club, Mouna Kadiri, said that the participants of this edition will focus on examining the dynamics of intra-regional integration in terms of creating values and opportunities through including participation in four plenary sessions.
Seven countries are in the spotlight namely Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali and Rwanda and B to G appointments, in addition to the awards ceremony South-South cooperation. This forum will recognize the awarding of South-South cooperation trophies to three African companies in recognition of their contribution to the development of intra-African trade. Under the auspices of the Al Mada Foundation, Young Entrepreneur Awards will also be awarded to three young African entrepreneurs in recognition of their ambition and entrepreneurial dynamism.
