Morocco to receive over 6 million hydroxychloroquine from India

The Indian government has validated the export of a batch of hydroxychloroquine to Morocco. The export license has been issued to the Ministry of Health for 6 million tablets of Hydroxychloroquine Sulfate manufactured by the Indian company, IPCA Laboratories.

The first delivery arrived in Morocco this Sunday. For the Moroccan government, this decision demonstrates once again the excellent relations that exist between India and the kingdom.

As a reminder, in December 2017, India and Morocco signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the health field. Thus, a mixed working group, created in this context, met in July 2018 in New Delhi.

Note that India, since the start of the pandemic, has sent medicines and medical supplies to more than 130 countries around the world.
