Valeo dreams big for its industrial project in Morocco. The automotive supplier, which already has a turnover of 76 million euros, intends to eventually go beyond and reach in the next few years the 500 million mark. In the longer term, it is the billion euros of turnover that the French group would aim for, according to its president Jacques Aschenbroich during the inauguration of the site of the equipment manufacturer in Tangier, a growth driven mainly by the rise in charge of the business of its two long-standing customers, Renault and PSA.
Along with Moulay Hafid Elalamy, the Minister of Trade and Industry, the French boss was keen to express his satisfaction with the quality of the Moroccan workforce (a project of Research Center of the group is in the pipe) and especially the responsiveness of the Moroccan authorities who are leading the benchmark in this area at the global level.
