Morocco warns Arab countries against Iran

The plenary session of the 36th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of the Interior was held last Sunday in Tunis. The Kingdom participated with a large delegation led by Abdelouafi Laftit.

The interior minister’s speech focused on several topical issues concerning the member states of the council. Among them, the hegemony that the country of the Mollahs seeks to impose in the Arab world. For this purpose, Laftit says, Iran uses all means to sow discord, including pecuniary and military commitment to terrorist organizations.

Faced with this Iranian threat, the Moroccan Minister of the Interior recalled Morocco’s firm position to oppose any attempt to destabilize by Tehran. He also reminded his counterparts that the Kingdom had broken off diplomatic relations with the country of the mullahs. This, because Morocco considers that any attack on its security and / or its territorial integrity constitutes a red line not to cross.

Finally, it should be noted that the delegation accompanying the Minister of the Interior is composed, among other personalities, of Driss El Jaouhari, Wali, Director General of Internal Affairs, and Mohamed Moufakir, Wali, Director of International Cooperation.
