NECHE: Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane awarded

The educational efficiency of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI) in terms of learning and student success has been praised by the prestigious American accreditation agency ”The New England Commission of Higher Education” (NECHE ). AUI, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, obtained NECHE accreditation in 2017, considered to be the most prestigious in the world. The agency accredits, among other institutions, the universities of Harvard and MIT.

In a letter to the president of the University, Amine Bensaid, the agency acknowledges “the continuous efforts and practices of Al Akhawayn to meet the challenges of higher education in the 21st century,” said a press release from AUI. Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is also at the top of the ranking of Moroccan higher education institutions in the prestigious QS Ranking.

“It is a worldwide consecration for the academic excellence of the university, its quality assurance and its openness to the international,” said the same source, adding that the AUI graduates are “known for their flawless training, their spirit of initiative and their adaptability”.

Al Akhawayn is an independent, public, non-profit Moroccan university. It provides advanced education and advanced research programs, including continuing education, according to “the highest” academic and ethical standards.
