Newcastle want to sign Hakim Ziyech

Better days on the horizon for Hakim Ziyech? The Atlas Lion is going through tough times professionally, both at club and national level. Shunned by Vahid Halilhodzic who accuses him of trivializing the national team, the Moroccan player is increasingly pushed towards the exit at Chelsea. But he has a chance to start on a new footing with the buyout of Newcastle by Saudi investors.

Sources close to the new England club bosses say they have their sights set on some big players and the name of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech is mentioned. An opportunity for the former Ajax Amsterdam who had a chaotic start to the season. Rejected by the fans, he is no longer favored by Thomas Tuchel, who has granted him very little playing time since the start of the season, even going so far as to criticize him at a press conference.

That hasn’t stopped Newcastle’s new management from making recruiting for the next transfer window one of their priorities, according to English media. In an awkward position since Franck Lampard left, Ziyech had thought of putting his bags down at AC Milan, but Tuchel refused to release him.

Unfortunately, the click did not happen, Ziyech failed to treat fans to the good performances he had accustomed Ajax supporters to. They even demanded his departure after Chelsea’s last two games.
