The Moroccan international from Ajax Amsterdam Noussair Mazraoui has officially signed up with Bayern Munich, the reigning German champions club said.
Aged 24, the right-back, close to a return to the national team, was also coveted by FC Barcelona according to several media. He arrives free at the “Rekordmeister” who has just won his 10th national title in a row, a record.
The former Ajax Amsterdam player has signed up until 2026, the German champion announced on Twitter.
“For me, it’s the biggest club in Europe, it plays the Champions League every year”, rejoices in a video posted by the Bavarian club Noussair Mazraoui, who says he signed in Munich “to win major titles”.
In practice, Mazraoui, who has made 33 appearances for Ajax in all competitions this year and scored five goals, is expected to play in the right lane in place of Frenchman Benjamin Pavard.
