The Hispano-Moroccan midfielder, Brahim Diaz, has officially left the English club Manchester City to engage with Real Madrid until 2025, announced the club.
“Real Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Brahim Diaz,” said the club in a statement, noting that Brahim Diaz becomes the first winter reinforcement of the “Merengues”.
The promising midfielder, aged 19, could play his first match on Wednesday at La Copa del Rey against Leganés.
Diaz has signed up with the prestigious Spanish club for the rest of the current season and the next six years, until June 30, 2025, says the same source, noting that he has successfully passed the traditional medical checkup.
Having joined Team A in Manchester City at the age of 16, Brahim Diaz played only 15 games in all competitions with the first team. He played in the U17, U19 Spanish squad before joining the U21.
