The Moroccan national football team will face its Argentinian counterpart on March 26 at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced today.
The meeting, which will take place at 20:00, serves as preparation for the Atlas Lions for their participation in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (CAN-2019), scheduled in Egypt, the source said in a statement.
Remember that this is not the first time that Morocco faces Argentina. In 1994, a match was held on the sidelines of the Salta Cup (3-1 for Argentina). And in 2004, the two teams played in a friendly match in Casablanca which ended in the score of 1 to 0 in favor of the Argentinians.
Note that Morocco was initially facing the English selection, except that a disagreement around the date of the match has canceled this meeting.
