As announced, the authorities in Oujda demolished the house that saw the birth of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The demolition of the former residence of Abdelaziz Bouteflika took place. According to sources, a family member of the Algerian president recently visited the capital of the Oriental to give the authorities permission and initiate the required procedures.
The sources adds that members of the Algerian consulate attended this operation. This house, which was in the old medina, threatened ruin and was a danger to the inhabitants.
Note that the decision to demolish was made in 2017, but the procedure took a long time.
