Polisario: The tension rises in Tindouf

The shame camps of Tindouf continue, since the beginning of last April, to live a situation of uprising of the populations that the polisarian repression can not succeed to subjugate.

On the contrary, demonstrations have mounted a notch in recent weeks, protesting against the repressive policies of separatist leaders of the Polisario Front.

And last Saturday, a sit-in was held in front of the headquarters of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at the camp called “Rabouni”. Strong chants were chanted by the demonstrators demanding the return to free circulation and the stop of the repression against the peaceful marches and sit-in of the populations of the camps of the shame.

The militias of the separatists had arrested, since the beginning of this popular uprising, dozens of demonstrators. The latest are fourteen, having strongly protested against the policy of repression imposed inside the Tindouf camps in the Algerian territory.

As a reminder, in order to stifle these protests, polisarian separatists have even used armored vehicles and heavy artillery. In addition, beatings of the protesters, in violation of all conventions on human rights.

The curfew and the ban on free movement to and from the camps are yet another attempt by the Polisario and its Algerian mentor, especially at the border crossings with the Kingdom and Mauritania, to prevent refugees from returning home to flee the hell of sequestration.
