The German equipment manufacturer Prettl, which specializes in sensor cable harnesses, is inaugurating its Tangier unit at the TAC.
Prettl’s facilities cover a little over 26,000 m² at TAC with a total investment of 8 million euros. The number of jobs to be filled will be 800 in the long term. The unit will have a capacity of 30 million pieces, eventually.
A special feature of this plant is its ability to produce some of its energy needs. Indeed, according to the group’s directives, each plant must self-supply energy and for Tangier, it is a roof of a thousand square meters which will have to handle it with an annual output of 90 megawatts.
