This is the first such agreement between Boeing and an African airline. The US manufacturer announces the signing of an agreement with Royal Air Maroc (RAM) concerning the use of a suite of solutions provided by Boeing AnalytX to improve the planning and operational management of the company’s crews.
The RAM becomes the first company in Africa to use these three advanced solutions: Crew Pairing, Crew Rostering and Crew Tracking. Other modules may be added later as an option.
The Crew Pairing tool allows airlines to optimize work tasks, improve staffing efficiency and overall security while minimizing costs. With the Crew Rostering solution, airlines can manage crew turnover taking into account the preferences and constraints of flight crews. Finally, the Crew Tracking tool helps detect, resolve and track changes to crew planning tasks.
