Some 422 imams and morchidates were sent by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs for the religious guidance of Moroccans living abroad (MRE) during the holy month of Ramadan.
This group of preachers and chancellors will be responsible for leading prayers and leading conferences and religious vigils in mosques and places of worship.
They were distributed “in concert with the embassies and consulates of the Kingdom abroad, as well as with the governing bodies of Moroccan mosques in the countries concerned,” said the ministry.
