Real estate intermediation: The American Keller Williams settles in Morocco

“Our goal is to launch a dozen Market Centers in Morocco,” said Youssef Mansour, Regional President Operating Principal KW Morocco, which holds the exclusivity of the franchise over the next 20 years.

A new concept in the field of real estate intermediation. The American Keller Williams, considered as one of the first global real estate networks, settles in Morocco. The franchise starts at first in Casablanca, before targeting other cities (Tangier, Marrakech, Rabat …). Its particularity lies in its innovative approach to the market, which differs from conventional real estate agencies.

Indeed, the model of the Market Center stands out from the competition. It is a coworking, reception, meeting and training space. Halfway between the traditional hyper concentrated agency and the network of proxies too dispersed, the center offers an average area of 400 m². Each space can receive a hundred advisers.

Specifically, the “Market Center” includes various services and tools designed to accommodate customers and allow members to work in collaborative mode. The “Anfa Market Center”, which will open next September, will be the first of a dozen similar centers across Morocco, said Youssef Mansour, Regional Chairman Operating Principal KW Morocco.

“Agents interested, beginners, experienced or even employees from other sectors can start training today,” says Mansour, who is also CEO of Makan consulting firm. In addition to the platform, the franchise offers training and coachig adapted to newcomers. The agents, independent and non-salaried, will have the status of self-entrepreneurs.

The American network, described as a technology company rather than a real estate company, has recently been in the news. It has announced the launch of a $ 1 billion fund for its R&D, the setting up of virtual offices for its employees and the deployment of a virtual assistant also for them.

With a turnover of more than $ 220 billion, just in the US and Canadian markets, the Keller Williams network began to expand internationally in 2012. Founded in 1983 in Austin, in Texas, the American firm is present in thirty countries. Today, it has more than 900 regional Market Centers around the world and approximately 180,000 employees and independent agents. Keller Williams launched on French territory in 2016.
