Back to Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane does not waste time. The French coach has just attracted his first recruit. It is the Brazilian defender Eder Militao who plays with FC Porto.
Real Madrid and Portuguese club FC Porto have reached an agreement to transfer the young Brazilian player Eder Militao from next summer, to the Madrid team said Thursday.
“Real Madrid and FC Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Eder Militao, who will be linked with the Madrid club for the next six seasons, until June 30, 2025,” said the club merenge in a brief statement on his web page.
According to spanish newspapers, the amount of this transfer amounts to 50 million euros, of which 6.5 will be paid to Sao Paulo FC, the Militao training club.
The young defender 21 years will, according to the same source, earn between 4 and 5 million euros net per year as salary, in addition to bonus.
Media notes that the Brazilian footballer, who can play both the central defender and right side, becomes the first recruit for the new project of the French coach of Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, named last Monday in this position.
