Renewable energies: Financing for 20 projects

The IRESEN (Research Institute of Solar Energy and New Energies) will sign, on Tuesday, financing agreements for calls for projects “Green InnoPROJECT” and “Green InnoBOOST”. These are dedicated to support collaborative projects of applied research and innovation, with high added value for the national and continental markets. The first aims to develop new products, services and/or market-oriented processes, while the second aims to support project promoters in the incubation or acceleration phase with a high degree of technological maturity.

These calls for projects are intended for universities, schools and research centers as well as companies wishing to develop innovative solutions in the fields of renewable energies and their integration into the electricity grid, energy efficiency, nexus Water/Energy/Agriculture … In total, 20 projects involving 45 Moroccan universities and companies as well as 10 research institutions and foreign companies were selected. They will benefit from a grant of MAD 3 million maximum.
