Renewable Energies: IRESEN joins forces with the Canadian University of Sherbrooke

The Institute for Research in Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN) and the Canadian University of Sherbrooke in Morocco have entered into a partnership to develop cooperation activities in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. The two partners intend to carry out specific activities, notably by supporting international research collaborations “by actively involving their respective industrial ecosystems”.

The collaboration will make it possible, among other things, to promote student and faculty mobility in order to promote applied research in renewable energies “with the active involvement of Moroccan and Canadian actors”. On solar energy, both parties will develop a collaborative platform on energy production via photovoltaic and thermal solutions as well as their integration with different forms of networks or storage solutions.
