Richard Branson wants to invest in Dakhla in hotels and kitesurfing

Richard Branson, British entrepreneur and founder of Virgin Group, recently paid a visit to Dakhla, in order to assess investment possibilities, particularly in hotels and kitesurfing.

Branson, who was the first civilian to take a trip to space, visited various sites in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region with his friends after a visit to Marrakech.

Arrived aboard his private jet, he made a kitesurfing downwind to the Dune Blanche for 1h30, and he ended his day at the hotel where he had dinner and spent the evening with his relatives and guests.

“I was captivated by Dakhla and its region and I will come back to kitesurf and certainly invest,” said Sir Branson.

Branson owns Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, where he indulges in his favorite sport, kitesurfing, with his friends and guests, including former US President Barack Obama.
