Rico ready for a third fight against Badr Hari

Unsatisfied with having won a second time against one of the best kickboxers in the world, Badr Hari, ankle injury on Saturday December 21 in the Netherlands, the Dutchman Rico Verhoeven is in favor of a third fight.

While Badr Hari is already preparing a revenge against Rico Verhoeven, the Dutchman also expresses the same wish. “It is not important to win or lose … Coming home healthy to your loved ones is all that matters. Badr, I want to thank you for an incredible fight and I hope you will recover soon. We will see each other again,” wrote Rico Verhoeven on Instagram.

Whoever was already close to defeat, but ended up winning thanks to an ankle injury to his opponent, intends to face Badr Hari again. “We put everything on the table; because of an injury, the legend could not continue the fight (…) I had never been so close to losing a fight like this. Getting thrown twice, so disappointed with myself; and at the same time, I take my hat off to Badr Hari for giving me and the fans what we expected… fireworks and a real fight because that was it,” he commented.

“I want to thank my entire army for this incredible evening of combat. You were amazing and I cannot describe how I felt when I entered the ring in this crazy atmosphere. (…) I would also like to thank Rico for his exemplary sportsmanship after my injury. I’ll be back. Get ready,” Badr Hari wrote on Instagram. He remains convinced that he will regain the title of world champion.
