The national airline, Royal Air Maroc has signed, this Tuesday, February 26, a partnership with the Nigerian startup, Amplify, to develop an innovative solution for booking air tickets.
Royal Air Maroc is already benefiting from its Open Innovation program, initiated in 2018 to support and develop innovative projects that can improve the customer experience of its travelers. After a long journey, consisting of a hackathon, an 8-week immersion of mentoring and coaching, a bootcamp, a demo day and an acceleration phase, three projects were finally selected for implementation.
On Tuesday, RAM signed a partnership with Amplify as part of the company’s continuous improvement process for its services, particularly in terms of customer experience.
Royal Air Maroc employees are not left out because two of their projects are also part of those that will be implemented in the coming months.
The launch of these projects follows the Open Innovation program, organized last April in collaboration with The Factory by ScreenDy, under the theme “Customer Journey Reinvented”. “After integrating digital transformation and innovation as a pillar of its development plan, Royal Air Maroc is committed to involving the external ecosystem of innovation (startupers, incubators, accelerators …) in the development of its products and services, particularly through the organization of a comprehensive Open Innovation program,” said Abdelhamid Addou, President and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.
