Royal Air Maroc launches a new robotic and instant information service via Whatsapp, the reference social network in Morocco and Africa.
In line with its digital integration strategy, RAM becomes one of the top five airlines in the world and the first in the continent to offer this service.
The Whatsapp Chatbot is the latest and most innovative communication channel in the airline industry. Thanks to this service, Royal Air Maroc puts at the disposal of its customers the information concerning their flights in real time.
They can view their bookings or the status of their flight via the app. They can also track their luggage in real time or print their electronic boarding pass.
In addition, customers can view the balance of their Safar Flyer miles, or the practical information about the arrival of their flights such as information on luggage delivery mats, the weather on the destination of arrival …
To access this service, customers are asked to register, on the directory of their smartphone, the following number: 00212 5 22 48 84 48.
They can then start the conversation with the robot RAM by sending a message such as “Hello” or “Hi” … The robot will propose to choose the language of conversation before presenting them the different services available. Customers can then select the service of their choice and get an instant answer.
The development of a dedicated chatbot will contribute to the improvement of the information service, a crucial issue in the airline industry. After integrating digital transformation and innovation as pillars of its development plan, RAM articulates its strategy on a sense of listening and agility for its customers. The national company is thus pursuing the digitization of certain processes with a view to proposing innovative solutions capable of responding to the needs and behaviors expressed by the growing population of “digital natives”.
Accompanying the growth of digitalization and artificial intelligence, RAM continues to evolve and continues to offer new services, in line with the new needs of customers.
