The Irish airline low-cost “Ryanair” will proceed from October 29 at the official inauguration of the air service linking London-Stansted to the city of Essaouira.
This air link will be made through two direct weekly flights connecting the two cities, every Tuesday and Saturday, said a statement from the Provincial Council of Tourism in Essaouira. “Result of a long effort of several partners, including the Moroccan National Office of Tourism (ONMT), this new airline will, no doubt, have a positive impact on the tourism sector in the city of the trade winds,” reads in the press release.
“The tourism operators of the city of the trade winds welcome this initiative which is part of the ONMT’s approach to the opening up of the city,” notes the council, saying that this air service will allow the city of Essaouira to remain connected to a tourist market with high potential.
It should be noted that as part of the efforts to strengthen the air connectivity of the city of the trade winds, a new airline Brussels Zaventem-Essaouira will also be launched on October 28 by the same company. Once officially inaugurated, this airline will be provided via two direct weekly flights (Tuesday and Saturday).
