Saham Assurance in the capital of the Khalladi wind farm

Saham Assurance has just completed the acquisition of a 24% stake in the Khalladi wind farm, built by ACWA Power and its partner Arif.

An equity investment that is part of the diversification of the insurer’s investment policy. The wind farm located in Jbel Sendouq (Tangier) has a capacity of 120 MW, the equivalent of the consumption of a city of 400,000 inhabitants.

Its construction required an investment of MAD 1.7 billion. Operational since June 2018, it supplies electrical energy to several industrial customers, mainly cement manufacturers.
