The first “100% technological” African exhibition dedicated to ASEC EXPO security and safety took place from 19 to 21 February 2019 in Rabat, under the theme “Security Technology Solutions for Human Development in Africa”.
According to a statement from the organizers, security experts, professionals and economic operators participated in this trade show and shared their experiences to propose appropriate technological solutions appropriate to the realities of the African continent.
This major event marked by the presence of delegations representing African states and the attendance of many security professionals at the national level, the statement said.
“ASEC EXPO”, which offered participants a window of options and technological solutions adapted to the public and private sectors, is a platform for meetings, conferences and workshops dealing with security under its various parameters, led by consultants and internationally renowned specialists in the various segments of security (electronics, cybersecurity, fire management, homeland security, smart home …). The main objective of this show was to federate, in the same momentum of discovery, public authorities, security institutions, institutional, professional associations, public and private companies, manufacturers, service providers, specifiers and buyers, the statement said.
Through this exhibition, the organizers underlined, Morocco offered African countries its experience and method and a technological platform of the highest order to help sustain their development.
In this wake, the experience of Morocco in the fight against terrorism, acclaimed by the world, is a model that has proven itself through a consistent and appropriate counter-terrorism strategy, in terms of legislation, watch, vigilance and the same source.
The ASEC EXPO provided participants with strong exchange opportunities to develop partnerships, to learn about advanced technologies and new industries in security, “B 2 B” framed by specialists and coverage in terms of media and non-media communication.
The Show “offered a suitable format, advanced content and advanced technological attractiveness that will allow everyone to get up to date on the technologies of today and tomorrow in the fight against malicious and insecure individuals, goods and data”, the source added.
