Seedstars Summit crowns the best startups in MENA

Seedstars World, the largest start-up competition, ended in style during the Seedstars Summit MENA in Morocco, from December 10 to 12. Seedstars selected Ebutler, Kenz, Hayatech, Otaxi, Hospitalia, Quantum and Optiyol among the most promising young shoots in the MENA region in front of more than 150 guests. They will represent the region at the Seedstars Summit 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland and are competing for the title of Seedstars Global Winner, with $ 500,000 in investments and other prizes.

An intensive bootcamp to teach the 20 startups how to develop their activities was led by the Seedstars team. It was followed by the Investment Forum where startups had more than 78 one-on-one meetings with the best local and international mentors and investors.

The summit also brought together speakers from international companies, business incubators and capital funds. “The Seedstars Summit MENA was a breathtaking event where we brought together more than 19 startups. We were fortunate to forge powerful ties through technology and bring people together to create opportunities,” said Annie-Shan Morin, Summit Manager.

Among the companies and institutions that made the Seedstars Summit MENA 2019 possible: Mada, Qbic, Kowork, France 24, MENA TECH, Morocco World News, and STARTUP MGZN.
