Sound Energy Discovers Gas Bearing Sands At TE-10 Well

Sound Energy PLC said Thursday it discovered the presence of gas bearing sands at TE-10 well, onshore Morocco, after intermediate wireline logs.

James Parsons, chief executive officer of the upstream gas company, said: “These positive initial results underscore our confidence in the exploration potential across the broader basin.”

The firm will now finalise the logging and then test the well to “better understand the scale of the discovery and seek to confirm commercial flow rates”.

TE-10 is the second well in the three well exploration programme in the Tendrara area, with TE-11 expected to be drilled as soon as TE-10 tests are complete.
