A Moroccan accused of drug trafficking in Morocco and wanted by Interpol was arrested in Spain this week in the city of Alicante.
The man, 50, was staying in a hotel in Elche in Alicante before being located by the Spanish police. He was the subject of an arrest warrant for “crime of drug trafficking”.
The Spanish police found 70,000 euros in cash with him. He is currently at the disposal of the Spanish Central Investigating Court, which will extradite him to The Kingdom.
