Sri Lanka: Morocco has prevented further terrorist attacks

The Moroccan security services again avoided another carnage that was going to happen in Sri Lanka, still in the capital: Colombo.

Indian media has just revealed: “Morocco has provided Sri Lanka with additional information that has made it possible to anticipate other terrorist attacks that ISIS plans to orchestrate, according to security sources.”

It would be the same source of a new round of terrorist attacks that was planned in Sri Lanka, after the bloody Easter Sunday, April 21. As a reminder, these attacks left more than 257 dead and about 500 wounded.

This ability of Morocco to counter terrorist attacks before they occur would be due, according to the same media, to the fact that Morocco “runs a large database on the Islamic State and its network.”

Morocco helped identify the nine perpetrators of the Easter Sunday attacks that targeted hotels and churches only hours after the attacks.
