Villa Mabrouka, Yves Saint Laurent’s residence in Tangier, has a new owner. It was the English designer Jasper Conran who acquired it, according to a statement from the Majorelle Foundation, without specifying the amount of the transaction.
According to the latter, the proceeds from the sale will be used to finance cultural, educational and charitable initiatives in Morocco. Villa Mabrouka had been bought in 1990 by Yves Saint Laurent who had made it his summer residence until his death in 2008.
