Investigations carried out on the terrorist cell linked to the organization called “Islamic State”, dismantled, this Friday morning in Tangier, allowed the arrest of another element in the same city, suspected of maintaining links with the members of this cell, indicates a statement from the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ).
The BCIJ, under the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST), arrested Friday eight extremists supporters of Daesh in the city of Tangier, recalls the statement, saying that these elements have adhered to the propaganda of this terrorist group while attempting to plan the execution of large-scale terrorist operations in the kingdom.
Investigations continue with the suspects under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, according to the same source.
