Three Moroccan banking groups appear in the Top 20 African banks published by The Banker.

The Attijariwafa bank group (AWB) is ranked 6th in Africa by assessing Tier 1 capital. He is ahead of BCP (7th) and BMCE BoA (12th).

The ranking is dominated by South African banks (6 banks) and Egyptian banks (5).
