Brazilian striker Marcelo is expected to leave Real Madrid this summer. According to newspapers, the 30-year-old reportedly informed Real General José Angel Sanchez of his departure.
For its part, Real Madrid would be ready to sell the Brazilian international if its performance does not improve by the end of the season.
Marcelo, who does not lack contenders, could join his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus. In addition, his transfer to the italian team had been announced by the Italian press last summer, except that no agreement was signed. Marcelo would also have explained to the Madrid leaders that he was unhappy and asked them to facilitate his departure.
When Ronaldo announced his decision to leave Real, the club had indeed lowered the amount of its release clause from one billion euros to 100 million to facilitate his transfer.
In addition, newspapers believe that the decline of Marcelo level is not a coincidence, since he continues to have good relations with Ronaldo and he would like to play with him in Italy.
